Well im sure most of you know Becker.... for the ignorant few Ted Danson plays Dr.John Becker in the show Becker. His character is like sarcasm in human form.... In this blog I intend to post scenes from Becker which i find the funniest.... well this show has become my most favorite ever.. yeah even surpassing friends... and ive watched the 6 seasons at least 7 times start to finish... Well hope someone finds it interesting and funny though its nothin compared to the master enact it on screen....
Scene 1
This tramp walks into Reggie's diner and moves upto Becker ;
Tramp: Hey man ... spare change?
Becker: You mean extra change ? money that, if you weren't here i'd just throw away ?
Tramp: No man spare change...
Becker: Oh like a spare tire like when something goes wrong with my regular change ...
Tramp: Oh no ! You're that doctor from over on lester avenue , aren't you.... forget it i don't need this... ( stomps off )
Jake: Yr reputation is growing John...
Becker: ( Continues reading the newspaper he was reading ) These car ads are such a croc , you cant even buy a used car anymore they're all "previously owned ", "formerly experienced" , "well serviced ".. if i add the word slut you could be talking about my ex-wife !
Reggie: You were married ?
Becker: Yeah ...why?
Reggie: (stutters while suppressing laughter) Wwwhho wud... i mean whhhy would... (awkward).. so what kinda car you looking for?
Becker: Basic transportation .. something to get me from here to there...
Reggie: Get a bicycle..
Jake: Uh oh !!
Reggie: Whaaat? They're inexpensive great exercise and pollution free....
Becker: Oh yeah thats just what i wanna be another schmuck riding down the street with a bell and a stupid helmet trying to save the environment .. like my lil two wheeler is gonna make a difference in this city with 50 million cabs belching out toxic smoke ... oohhh lil timmy cant breathe... but dont worry beckers riding a bike....!!!!
